Angel Shah |
Angel is pursuing her B.B.A. in International Business and is from Sevier County, TN. She is an honors student and a scholarship winner. Angel is involved in the FCBE Student Delegate Board and the Memphis Institute of Leadership Education program. With a focus in international business, she plans to become a foreign services manager/analyst.

Bonnie Coleman |
Bonnie, a graduate of Memphis’ White Station High School, is pursuing her B.B.A. in Accounting. She has been awarded several scholarships and is a member of several honor societies including Phi Eta Sigma, Alpha Lambda Delta, and the University Honors Program. Bonnie is a math tutor and is involved in the Blue Crew.

Clay Presley |
Clay Presley is pursuing his B.B.A. in Marketing Management and is from Shelby County. Clay has been on the Dean’s list for six semesters and is a recipient of the Cecil C. Humphreys Presidential Scholarship. He is on the C-USA Academic Honor Roll, is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the Tiger 3.0 Club.

Curtis Gibbs |
Curtis, an honors student on the Dean’s List, is pursuing his B.B.A. in Economics and is from Williamson County, TN. As a Student-Athlete he participates in Cross Country and Track and Field and is in the Student Athlete 3.0 Club. Curtis has already proven to be a true entrepreneur by opening up his very own coffee shop.

Curtis Langstraat |
Curtis recently completed his B.B.A. in Accounting from Brigham Young University and is currently pursuing his M.S. in Accountancy/ Taxation at UofM. He has co-authored an article in Practical Tax Strategies. Curtis has earned several scholarships including the Tennessee Society of CPA’s scholarship and is currently a staff member at Ernst and Young, LLP.

Yingqiu Hua |
Yingqiu Hua received her B.A. in English Literature at the Zhejiang University in China. Now at the University of Memphis she is pursing her M.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in MIS. She hopes to one day become a Data Analyst for a Fortune 500 company. As an undergraduate, Yingqiu received “Most Outstanding Student” at Zhejiang University. As a graduate student she has made the deans list every semester and has been honored with the Business Alumni Chapter Scholarship through the Fogelman College of Business & Economics.

Drew McCoy |
Drew is a graduate of Shelby County’s Houston High School and is a management major. Drew has made Dean’s list every semester, is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta and has won the Provost and Dr. Feinstein scholarships. He is a roller coaster enthusiast, plays the trombone and was a member of the Mighty Sound of the South.

Erin Taylor |
Erin is pursuing her B.B.A. in Accounting and is a graduate of Memphis’ Ridgeway High School. She is a member of Hillel and volunteers at the Memphis Jewish Home. She has received the Provost Scholarship and the SunTrust Scholarship, and is on the Dean’s list. Long term career goals for Erin include becoming a certified public accountant.

Justin Weekly |
Justin is a double major in International Business and Spanish who is spending the summer in Costa Rica doing missionary work. Justin has achieved the Dean’s list numerous times and has been awarded many esteemed scholarships. He is a leader in several organizations including Students for Economic Development, Technology Team, and the Baptist Collegiate Ministry. Justin is pianist and a composer. He is a dedicated volunteer, having taught English in Ecuador, helping to construct a library in rural Guatemala, and going on a church mission to Costa Rica.

Kaolin Levatino |
Kaolin graduated from the First Assembly Christian School in Shelby County, TN and is a Finance major with a concentration in Insurance and Risk Management. He is a scholarship winner, has made Dean’s list several times, has been involved in the Memphis Institute for Leadership Education program, and is VP Finance of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Kaolin is a swimming teacher and chess teacher who placed 18th in the nation in his division in chess competition. He has helped organize the Blues Ball charity event in Memphis for the last ten years. Kaolin chose the Fogelman College over the business schools at UT Knoxville and Mississippi State.

Katie, from DeSoto County, MS, is pursuing her B.B.A. in Management. She is an honors student, a scholarship winner, and is a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, serving as their Go-Green Campaign chair. She was a member of the Student Activities Council where she was very involved in the planning of all events.

Kelli is a native of Shelby County, TN and is pursuing her B.B.A. in Finance. Involved in the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, she has attained Dean’s List every semester and is a multiple scholarship winner. As a student worker in President Shirley Raines’ office, she was awarded the Outstanding Student Employee of the Year Award.

Kimel Fryer |
A native of Shelby County, Kimel is a Dean’s List finance major. She is a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Society and the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. Kimel is active in the Student Government Court and the Pre-Law Society, and is in the UofM Marching Band. Her next target is law school.

Kim is a native of Shelby County, TN and is pursuing her B.B.A. in Finance. She has been on the Dean’s list every semester and is in the Memphis Institute for Leadership Education program. Kim has won the Cecil C. Humphreys Presidential Scholarship, and Myers Family Memorial Scholarship. She has made numerous mission trips with her church.

Marcus Albright |
Marcus is pursuing his B.B.A. in Accounting and is from Shelby County. He is involved in many organizations including the Black Scholars Unlimited, Phi Kappa Phi, and Beta Gamma Sigma. Marcus has been awarded the Distinguished African American Scholarship and Ethel Lewis Scholarship. He is an intern with USACE Finance Center and plans to work in internal audit.

Matthew, a scholarship winner, recently received his B.B.A. in Accounting here at the UofM and is currently pursuing his M.S. in Accountancy. He has held several positions in Beta Alpha Psi, Golden Key International Honor Society and Chi Beta Phi Scientific Honorary. He has worked as a tutor at the University of Memphis and Southwest TN Community College.

Papa is an International MBA student from Senegal. As a UofM undergraduate he received the Dean’s Award for Most Outstanding Student and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is a member of the Scholars for Economic Development (SED) and the Books for Africa program. Papa was a recipient of the SunTrust Scholarship and Myers Family Memorial Scholarship.

Rachel, a Dean’s List student from Fayette County, TN, is pursuing her B.B.A. in Accounting. She has been a VP of the FCBE Student Delegate Board and Pi Sigma Epsilon, and VITA coordinator for Beta Alpha Psi. Rachel is in the Memphis Institute for Leadership Education program and is a receptionist at the Animal Care Hospital.

An accounting major and multiple scholarship winner, Renee recently received her B.B.A. and is currently pursuing her M.S. She has held many offices in student organizations including President of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Epsilon Kappa chapter and Vice President of the Golden Key National Honor Society. Her career interests are in external audit and forensic accounting. Renee volunteers as a Big Sister in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program in Memphis.
